SawMill Creek Park, Staten Island, New York

Installed native plantings to restore 20-acre low salt marsh.


Long beach, New York

Restored 3 miles of beach by planting native vegetation to stabilize dunes and prevent erosion.

 

Gerritsen Creek, NYC Park, Marine Creek Park, Brooklyn

Worked with U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and NYC Parks Department to restore nine acres of salt marsh and 17 acres of grassland on Jamaica Bay. Project required installation of extensive goose fencing and a schedule of regular watering and weeding.

 

Fire Island National Seashore

Planted native grasses on 25 acres of beach to prevent erosion and restore the native habitat on the Fire Island shoreline. 


Soundview Park, New York City

Established tidal salt marsh and upland buffer zone of eight acres of grassland where the Bronx River opens into the East River.


Saxon Woods County Park, White plains, NY

Extensive clearing of invasive plants from 20 acres along the banks of the Mamaroneck River and upland areas. Revegitated flood plain by hydroseeding upland grass areas. Planted native trees to reforest entire area.

 

Udalls COVE park, little neck, ny

Restored streambank with the installation of brush mattresses.
